Studioflows is the tool I open first every morning to run my own retainers. It's for sale because it works.
I'm Benjamin Chmielecki. I run a video-first social agency — dealerships, exotic rentals, realtors, salons, law firms — about eighteen monthly retainers at any time, with a small team of editors and a videographer. I also teach agency owners how to run their business on AI at TheseFrames.
Every tool I tried was built for a marketing department, not for someone who has to film twelve reels for a client, get them edited, get them approved, post them on the right days, and collect the retainer — eighteen times over, every month. The work lived in Notion, a scheduler, a spreadsheet, a chat thread and my head. Something always slipped, and the thing that slipped was always a client.
So I built the tool around the retainer itself: a quota per client, a pipeline for every reel, queues for the editor and the shooter, a portal where the client approves, a publisher that posts on schedule, an invoice that closes the loop — and a daily sweep that tells me, before coffee, who's behind.
Server-rendered Python on Render, Postgres on Supabase, Buffer for publishing, Claude for carousels and captions. Pages load in tens of milliseconds because there's no front-end framework to wait for. The whole thing is tested and ships most days — see the changelog.
If you run video retainers and something in your month keeps slipping, I want to hear about it: hello@studioflows.io. I read every message.
